Nice is a pioneer in solar navigation
SeaZen, a Nice manufacturer of solar boats, is proud to announce the launch of its brand new 100% autonomous solar-powered model. Made in France, and supported by the French Ministry of the Sea, as part of the Maritime Intervention Fund, this boat embodies a unique and innovative know-how, for sustainable navigation. The boat will be on display, for the duration of the UNOC. An opportunity to discover the exceptional performance of this clean technology and its potential for the future of maritime mobility.

Intended for innovative entrepreneurs, the Kit or Assembled versions are integrated into a proven business model, allowing the development of solar navigation in other cities, other countries. SeaZen supports its franchisees with recognized expertise and a turnkey solution, creating local jobs, to promote an environmentally friendly navigation experience.
How does solar navigation fit into the objectives of UNOC?
The central objective of UNOC is the preservation of aquatic life. In UN jargon we must say objective number 14 or even better the “SDG 14”. However, a growing number of studies show that underwater noise is harmful to biodiversity. A solar boat is particularly quiet because the lifestyle associated with slow navigation generates less propeller cavitation noise and flows on the hull.
See you at UNOC for the demonstration of solar navigation, economically viable and preserving biodiversity!
