SeaZen strengthens its private tour offering. To support its growth in Beaulieu-sur-Mer or Juan-les-Pins, SeaZen is recruiting locally-based skippers. What’s more, this job could eventually be a springboard for entrepreneurship to open a new SeaZen franchise base in another port on the Côte d’Azur. In addition, and as business grows, SeaZen may need to extend the recruitment period for subsequent seasons, or expand to other franchised bases over a longer or shorter period with possibly shorter hours too.
Joining SeaZen is giving new meaning to your career while making the Côte d’Azur an international showcase for responsible yachting.

Job description
Thanks to his smartphone, the skipper knows his schedule for the day. Potentially he can operate a departure every hour non-stop. The first departure can start at 9am at the earliest, and the last arrival can be at 9pm in the rarest and most extreme case, with 2 breaks at 1 – 2pm and 6 – 7pm. Plan to arrive in the morning 15 min before the first departure and leave the boat about 15 min after the last departure.
The itinerary can be customized according to the customer’s expectations, depending on whether they have booked the 1 or 2-hour tours.
The sailor’s contract is placed through our partner Capt’n Boat, our sailors testify in videos.

- Ability to interact with a wide variety of people, including families with young children, hen parties, romantic couples, groups of disabled pensioners and residents showing their loved ones around the coast.

Training included in the position and skills upgrading
Week 1: duplicate action training
Once recruited, he or she will need to assimilate tourist information and specific features of solar navigation. Most of this information is already published online at seazen.fr, but it takes time to assimilate. For the specific techniques of SeaZen navigation, he will discover the tricks to manage solar autonomy and arrive easily on time. He’ll spend the first week doubling up with his local manager, where he’ll gradually lead more and more solo slots.
Week 2 and 3: autonomous skipper
At the end of the 1st week of training, he will take over the activity for the whole of the following weeks. Commercial matters, such as online reservations and payments, will continue to be handled remotely by the back office, so he won’t have to worry about them.
Privacy clause
SeaZen is developing a unique activity of hourly tours on an electric/solar boat, which has no equivalent to date. What’s more, the training provided as a “tourist guide” is very specific to the SeaZen spirit, and is based on historical content and people located within a 5 km radius of the departure base. The skipper must undertake a non disclosure agreement.
